Flights / Road

Arrival in Bhutan (Paro International Airport - PBH)

Paro is Bhutan's only international airport, nestled in a deep valley at an elevation of 2,235 meters, making it one of the most challenging airports in the world for pilots. Bhutan is served by two airlines—Drukair (Royal Bhutan Airlines) and Bhutan Airlines. International flights to Paro are limited, and only a few countries have direct connections; India: Delhi, Kolkata, Guwahati, Bagdogra; Thailand: Bangkok; Nepal: Kathmandu; Bangladesh: Dhaka; Singapore: Singapore (limited frequency). The most common international route is from Delhi or Bangkok, as they have more frequent connections to Bhutan.

Departure from Bhutan (Paro International Airport - PBH)

International Flights from Paro: You can book your return flight to one of the same destinations listed above, most often Bangkok or Delhi, depending on your next destination. Flights from Paro typically operate in the morning to mid-day due to the airport’s weather conditions and challenging approach.
